In honor of the July 4th holiday, meet 14-year old Nathan Adams from buffalo, new york. Nathan is known as “the lawn kid” for his self-run lawn-mowing business, a skill he learned from his grandfather, a military veteran and volunteer firefighter. When his mower broke down, neighbors gave donations to help with supplies, including a brand new lawnmower. So when his beloved grandfather passed away, Nathan decided to use the skills he learned and supplies he received for good. Nathan promised to cut 50 veteran’s lawns for free to honor his late grandfather and give a discount for any future cuts. Nathan said “we should always be thankful to our veterans because they’re the reason why we get to be free and make decisions.” no doubt your grandfather would be proud of you Nathan, what an inspiration!
