A little story to help you feel good going into the weekend! This week’s story comes from Chicago, where Eduard Seitan, a restaurant owner affected by the pandemic, found a way to cope with the challenges he faced: Flying dogs and cats to safety. Eduard, who flies his own airplane as a hobby, has been using the downtime to volunteer for the group “Pilots N Paws,” A non-profit network of pilots who fly dogs and cats at risk of being euthanized to no-kill rescue organizations across the country. Eduard has personally flown over 40 pets to safety. He says volunteering has been a silver lining during the coronavirus and encourages everyone to volunteer because, quote, “I think it does so much for your soul.”
